PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale release date set for October

Simultaneous PS3 and Vita release.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is slated for an October release on both PS3 and Vita, Sony has announced.

The game will be out on 23rd October in North America, and the following day in Europe with some exceptions - it will be the 25th in Australia and New Zealand, and 26th in the UK & Ireland.

Sony reiterated that pre-orders will net players exclusive costumes, with a couple more to be revealed tonight at 2 a.m. BST during SCEA's Exhibition Presentation at EVO. In the meantime, the roster is comprised of alternate costumes for Nathan Drake, Big Daddy, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, Fat Princess, Parappa the Rapper, Deimos, and Mael Radec.

Recently, it was announced that Street Fighter mouth-piece and EVO co-founder Seth Killian had taken a role at Sony Santa Monica, where he would assist PlayStation All-Stars' developer, Superbot Entertainment.
