Gears of War: Judgment will not support Kinect

Bleszinski: "I'm curious how the 'core' games will work out."

Gears of War: Judgment will not utilise Kinect, according to series creator Cliff Bleszinski.

Bleszinski is a fan of the the tech, but doesn't see it as a good fit for the upcoming Gears of War prequel. "We are not supporting Kinect in Gears Judgment," he said in a recent interview with GamesTM.

"I like Kinect, I've been a fan of it, but I don't think it has been fully realised as far as the potential of the device. Dance Central 3 looks great and all, but I'm curious how the 'core' games will work out."

In April, Epic announced its mysterious Gears of War: Exile project had been shelved. It was rumoured to be an on-rails shooter for Kinect.

Gears of War: Judgment is due out Q1 of next year on Xbox 360.
