Monstermind dev making Merlin the Game

Based on TV show. Closed beta next month.

Monstermind developer Bossa Studios is making a game based on the BBC Merlin TV series.

Merlin the Game launches on Facebook in the autumn to tie-in with the fifth season of Merlin, but a closed beta is planned for July. You can put your name down for it now on the Merlin website.

Merlin the Game is described as a real-time cooperative fantasy-adventure game. It has 3D visuals and a cartooney art style.

Bossa creator in chief Imre Jele said: "We have carefully crafted the game to capture the very essence of the world's most famous sorcerer. Players can explore magical lands while adventuring alongside trusty allies in the Crystal Cave, knocking out ferocious Wilddeoren rats or uniting with one of their favourite characters like Merlin or Arthur."
