Sony's London Studio working with J.K Rowling on Wonderbook

Move enhanced interactive storybook coming to PS3 this autumn.

Sony has announced a new platform for interactive storybooks on the PlayStation 3, and has unveiled the first publication: Book of Spells, a magical tale that's been penned by Harry Potter author J.K Rowling.

Developed by Sony's London Studio, Wonderbook utilizes the Move controller and augmented reality enabled by the PlayStation eye to bring storybooks to life, and players can interact and impact the outcomes of the stories.

Rowling's Book of Spells was showcased at Sony's E3 press conference, and featured a player manipulating a magical wand as they worked their way through the pages of the storybook. It's slated for release later this year.
