EA details new FIFA 13 connectivity

Football Club expanded, rewards carried over and iPhone and iPad versions now hook up with console.

EA Sports detailed the added connectivity that's coming to FIFA 13, outlining an expanded EA Sports Football Club as well as link-ups between the iPhone and iPad versions of the game with the mainline console versions.

Players of FIFA 12 will be able to carry any XP earned over to FIFA 13 and spend it in the all-new catalogue, in which in-game items can be purchased.

FIFA on iPad and iPhone will also connect with FIFA 13, and there'll be a new iPhone app launching that will allow players to engage in Ultimate Team auctions and engage in their FIFA career.
