Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse has co-op and competitive multiplayer levels

Play as Stewie or Brian.

Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse has co-op and competitive multiplayer levels, Activision has announced.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game expands on the Road to the Multiverse episode of the animated comedy. You play as either Stewie or Brian, who each have unique abilities and weapons.

You have to battle Family Guy characters in Multiverse themed levels. The big bad guy is Stewie's evil twin, Bertram, who wants to destroy Quahog.

Activision didn't reveal further information on the co-op and multiplayer levels, but did say they have a Family Guy "twist". The new game is, according to Activision, intended to "tap into the core components of the Family Guy spirit". It's written by Family Guy "talent". Box art, below, reveals an 18 rating.
