Really Big Sky sequel announced for PS3 and Vita

To infinity and beyond.

Big Sky Infinity will launch on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita this year, publisher Ripstone has announced.

It has joined forces with UK-based indie developers Boss Baddie and VooFoo Studios (Hustle Kings, Pure Chess) to bring the twin-stick shooter to PlayStation platforms.

Big Sky Infinity is an iteration on Boss Baddie's shooter Really Big Sky, released earlier this year on PC, and marks the series' debut on console. Big Sky Infinity includes the previous game's procedurally generated scenarios and introduces new modes, enemies and touch controls.

To celebrate the announcement, Boss Baddie has knocked 75 per cent off Really Big Sky on Steam until 2nd June. If that's still too rich for your blood, a free demo is available from Boss Baddie's website.
