Prototype 2 Colossal Mayhem DLC pack out today

Excessive Force DLC pack release date announced.

Prototype 2's first DLC pack, Colossal Mayhem, launches today.

The open world action game's second DLC pack, Excessive Force, launches on 29th May.

Today's a Tuesday, as you're no doubt aware, and so is 29th May. We expect the first DLC to launch, then, on the European PlayStation Store tomorrow, when it updates, and the second on Wednesday30th May.

Both packs cost 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, or $4.99 on PlayStation 3. If you bought the Blackwatch Collector's Edition you can redeem your one-time use code to download the Colossal Mayhem pack for free from today.

The contents of both packs in full:

Colossal Mayhem Pack:

  • Thermobaric Boom-Stick.
  • Force Multiplier Powers: Warp Vortex; Anti Gravity Field; Air Time.
  • Custom Skins: Heller Test Subject; Infected Heller; Infantry Heller.

Excessive Force Pack:

  • Viral Infector Grenade Launcher,
  • Force Multiplier Powers: Shockwave; Chaos Creator Mode; Medusa's Wrath.
  • Custom Skins: Armored Heller; Agile Armor Alex Mercer; Zombie Mercer.
