Super Hang-On Wii Virtual Console release date

Sega arcade bike racer Super Hang-On launches on the Wii Virtual Console this week, Nintendo has announced.

Super Hang-On was first released in arcades 25 years ago. It contains 48 tracks to bike around, and Eurogamer's racing nut Martin Robinson is probably bouncing around as we speak.

You can download it on Thursday for 900 Wii Points (about £6.30).

Game & Watch Gallery 2 will be released on the 3DS eShop then, too. Continuing the 1980s theme it contains Nintendo mini-classics Parachute, Helmet, Chef, Vermin and the original Donkey Kong. Price? £3.60.

Then there's Cat Frenzy, a simple match-three DSiWare game priced £1.80 (200 DSi Points). "Nothing makes a puzzle game better than cute and furry kittens. Slide and match different kinds of kittens to set them free from a well in over 100 levels full of puzzles and purrs." And that's your lot.
