Nintendo in talks with UK shops over Heroes of Ruin exclusivity

Will it be a GAME exclusive?

Nintendo is in talks with UK shops over possible Heroes of Ruin exclusivity.

Yesterday GAME's official Twitter page linked to the Heroes of Ruin product page on, where the Nintendo 3DS RPG is listed as a GAME exclusive.

However, the Square Enix-made game is still available to buy from other retailers, including Play.

Today Nintendo announced it will distribute the game in Europe, and Nintendo UK followed up with the following statement, issued to Eurogamer: "Nintendo UK can confirm it is currently in discussion with UK retailers about the sale of Heroes of Ruin for Nintendo 3DS. However, we have nothing further to announce on this title beyond the recent distribution agreement with Square Enix Europe."

Square Enix declined to comment when approached by Eurogamer. Eurogamer has asked GAME for comment.
