Beautiful point and click adventure puzzle game Botanicula launches on PC and Mac on 19th April, developer Amanita Design has announced.

That's the Windows, Mac and Linux versions, and also the soundtrack in MP3 form.

Botanicula is more simple and accessible than Amanita Design's previous adventure games Machinarium and Samorost. It is based on humour, not complex puzzles, producer Jakub Dvorský has said, and offers a relaxed experience.

Exploration of a huge tree, spread across 150 screens, is the focus. You play five hero characters who attempt to fend off a parasitic evil. The original soundtrack and sound effects are created by Czech alternative band DVA.
