Orcs Must Die! 2 announced

Out on PC this summer.

Robot Entertainment has announced Orcs Must Die! 2, due out on PC this summer.

The action strategy game features a new single-player and co-op campaign, more enemies, more defences and a new upgrade system. The story begins right after the ending of the first game, and sees the War Mage fighting off against more orcs. He has a new companion, the Sorceress, an ex-War Mage who destroyed the Order. You can play the campaign as either the War Mage or the Sorceress, who uses mind-control and magic.

If you have the first game on PC, recipient of a 7/10 Eurogamer review, you will unlock exclusive content in the sequel, Robot said.

The first game launched on Xbox Live Arcade as well as PC. Today's sequel announcement only mentioned PC. The debut trailer is below.
