Hybrid XBLA beta sign-up underway

5th Cell's shooter calls for willing test subjects.

A closed beta for forthcoming XBLA third person shooter Hybrid kicks off in late April, developer 5th Cell has announced.

You can put your name forward now via the game's official website. Keys will be distributed in multiple groups over the course of the trial period.

All those who get a friend to sign up as well will be rewarded with an exclusive golden helmet when the final version of the game launches later this year.

The title, due out in the Summer, tracks a persistent online world war between two factions: an alien species called the Variants and rebel human faction the Paladins. Trailer below.
