Microsoft details Windows Phone 7 games push

Must Have Games season starts next week.

Microsoft is launching a new push to get games noticed on its Windows Phone 7 platform next week with a month of high profile releases.

Its Must Have Games season kicks off on 1st February with the smartphone version of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, priced at your local equivalent of $4.99.

That's followed on 7th February by ravey arcade shoot 'em up BulletAsylum, published by Microsoft Game Studios. That'll set you back $2.99.

Chickens Can't Fly, another Microsoft effort, swoops in on 15th February, priced at $2.99.

Gameloft's mobile version of Splinter Cell: Conviction is next up on 22nd February, for $4.99.

Finally, Toy Soldiers: Boot Camp rounds things off on 19th February, repackaging the various shooting gallery mini-games from recent Xbox Live Arcade release Toy Soldiers: Cold War. That's $2.99.

All games feature Xbox Live Achievements and online leaderboards.
