Disaster Report developer making PS3, Vita game

Kazuma Kujo returns following Irem departure.

Kazuma Kujo, creator of the Disaster Report series, is making a new downloadable game for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

The Japanese developer took to Twitter (via Kotaku) to confirm his new project. There is no PlayStation Portable version planned. More details will be revealed soon.

Kujo led development on the cancelled Disaster Report 4, which was set to be published exclusively for the PS3 on 10th March 2011 - a day before the devastating Japan earthquake and tsunami rocked the country.

It was believed Disaster Report 4 was canned because of the subject matter of its gameplay - it takes place in a large city which is suddenly hit by a major earthquake. But Kujo - who is no longer with Disaster Report developer Irem - insisted it was scrapped because it could not be completed in time.
