Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon heads to PC

Exclusively on Steam.

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon launches on PC this Christmas, D3Publisher has announced.

Insect Armageddon, the first Earth Defense Force game to release on PC, launches exclusively on Steam, and includes all of the downloadable content previously released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

You can buy four new PC exclusive weapon packs at launch for your armour classes: The Earth Defense Force Battle Armor Weapon Chest, Trooper Special Issue Enforcer Package, Aerialist Munitions Package, and Tactician Advanced Tech Package. Each weapon pack includes ten weapons.

Insect Armageddon also supports Steam Cloud saving and Steam Achievements for PC.

Eurogamer's Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon review shot an 8/10. "This is a smart discount blaster to dive into for a few hours every few months, and to have nearby whenever you get bored of more complex entertainments that come with characters and plot twists and levels that aren't all largely interchangeable," wrote Christian Donlan.
