Dota 2 invites in "increasing volumes" this week

Valve to widen beta testing.

Invites to test Valve game Dota 2 will be sent in "increasing volumes" this week.

"We've just finished our first significant expansion of Dota 2 server capacity around the world, and that means it's time to kick this thing up a notch," sated a post on the Dota 2 blog.

"Starting this week, we'll be handing out Dota 2 in increasing volumes."

Filling out the Dota 2 survey will apparently help you "secure your place in the upcoming invitations".

If you receive an invitation, Valve will give you two extra copies of the unfinished game on Steam to hand out to friends. Send them using Steam Trading.

Valve has released a new Dota 2 comic called "Tales of the Secret Shop" in celebration.
