Lara Croft an Xperia Play exclusive

More "established" Squeenix games coming.

Critically acclaimed downloadable game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light hits Xperia Play in November, Sony Ericsson and Square Enix have announced.

It launches as an Xperia Play Android exclusive in November. More "established" Square Enix games will follow in the coming months.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light launched last year first on Xbox 360, then on PC and PlayStation 3.

Eurogamer's Lara Croft review shot its way to a 9/10.

"With a unique control pad and immersive graphics that enable an enriched gaming experience, Xperia Play is bringing a unique and exciting dimension to smartphone gaming," said Ben Cusack, Head of Mobile for Square Enix Europe.

"This is just the start of what we plan to do together, but right now, we are delighted to be able to show off the full potential of our games with this innovative smartphone, bringing them to life as our creators intended."
