Back to the Future coming to Wii

Telltale signs Nintendo publishing deal.

Telltale Games' recent movie tie-in Back to the Future: The Game is coming to the Wii, the publisher has announced.

The episodic adventure will launch in the US in October at a budget price of $19.99.

A spokesperson for Telltale told Eurogamer that European release plans should be firmed up in the next 24 hours. We'll update when they come in.

And there could be more to come for Nintendo customers. Telltale has just signed a deal with Nintendo of America allowing it to publish games on its systems.

"Securing a publishing agreement with Nintendo of America ensures that we can make our popular content available on every major console platform. This signing is a significant milestone in our long-term growth strategy," commented Telltale CEO Dan Connors.

"Back to the Future: The Game is a great fit for the Wii platform and we're excited to bring it to retail this holiday."

Also currently in the works at Telltale are games based on Jurassic Park, The Walking Dead and the Fables comic series.
