Rage HD free on iOS for the next week

One to get touchy with.

Rage HD will be free for iOS devices from the App Store for the next week.

Bethesda made it so to thank the 100,000 fans of Rage on Facebook.

Rage HD, an on-rails shooter, was released for iOS devices in November. It's a good-looking snapshot at the world of Rage, which we'll all be able to plough through soon on PC and console.

"It's a fun distraction on your mobile, giving you a few hours of entertainment to rack up a high score, finish all the stages, and gawp at the tremendous graphics," declared Mark Brown, writer of Eurogamer's Rage HD review.

"Like I said, worth a bob or two."

Or nothing, as is now the case.
