New-look Wii out for Christmas

Streamlined design with games. 

Nintendo will launch a redesigned version of the Wii in time for Christmas.

The new-look Wii will be sold in a bundle with mini-game collections Wii Party and Wii Sports, reports ONM.

Gamers will also get the new Wii Remote Plus controller and a Nunchuck.

The console's facelift will allow the device to better sit horizontally rather than vertically.

It's the first redesign for the Wii since the console's launch in 2006, although various coloured versions have been issued.

The new configuration looks like a blend of Wii and Wii U designs:
