Splinter Cell HD Y-axis invert missing

Ubisoft looking into issue.

Ubisoft is investigating the absence of the Y-axis invert control scheme in the recently released Splinter Cell HD.

Eurogamer reader "VandelayIndustries" alerted us to the problem, which Ubisoft is looking into.

"Firstly I'm sorry to hear that so many of you are facing issues because of the absences of the inverted axis," Ubisoft's international product manager Akshay Paul wrote on the EU PlayStation Blog.

"I have forwarded this to the concerned people and they are looking into this."

If a patch is possible, it will take a minimum of six to eight weeks before it is released, Paul said. We'll know by next week, hopefully.

"I cannot provide any concrete information right now, however I can assure you that this query is being looked into.

"Thank you for your time and patience."

The Splinter Cell HD Trilogy was this week released on the PlayStation Store.

The games - Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - cost €9.99/£7.99 individually or €29.99/£23.99 bundled together.

A Blu-ray disc with the games on will be released "at a later date".
