Games have been added to Google+.

An fifth icon located next to the search box on the Google+ homepage (above the word Stream) allows you to select Games.

Games isn't available to me as a UK user, because Google is slowly rolling the feature out. When you see the Games icon, you can play.

There are 16 games available. Among them, Angry Birds, Bejeweled Blitz, Dragon Age: Legends and Zynga Poker.

Google+ shares game accomplishments with circles/friends using the Games page. Therefore your general Stream won't be overrun with Game-related posts.

You can share game updates, gifts, messages with circles, and also invite people to play with you.

Playing Google+ games involves allowing some personal information to be accessed by the application. You'll be told what information when you click Play on a game for the first time.

Google+ had amassed more than 25 million users at the start of August, according to comScore.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. For more information, go here.
