Red Faction: Armageddon DLC out today

Volition franchise says its farewells.

A new DLC pack for Red Faction: Armageddon lands on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live today, in what could be a last hurrah for THQ's long-running series.

The Path to War pack, priced at $6.99/560 Microsoft Points, adds two new weapons, four new missions and a bunch of new Achievements/Trophies to the Volition-developed third person shooter.

It might be the last bit of new Red Faction content you see for some time, if ever. Last week THQ announced it was shelving the franchise, which began life on PC back in 2000, following poor sales of Armageddon.
