Mobigame's Edge for PC and Mac

Block that.

Mobigame's retro-styled platform puzzle game Edge will be released on Steam and the App Store for Mac on 11th August.

That's a Thursday.

"Digital enrichment" company Two Tribes has polished the iPhone game for muscular desktop computers, adding high definition resolutions and new special effects.

Two Tribes has also made bonus levels, incorporated the Edge Extended DLC and patched in Steam achievements.

There's no word on price.

Edge is a competent iPhone game that shot to fame not through App Store success, but for being targeted by Edge Games for infringing on the notorious Edge trademark. The battle between Timothy Langdell's Edge Games and Mobigame, the creator of iPhone game Edge, rages to this day.

Eurogamer's Edge iPhone review awarded 7/10.
