Level-5 ponders which titles to localise

Layton vs. Ace Attorney? Ni no Kuni?

Dragon Quest IX developer Level-5 wants to know which of its Japan-only titles Western gamers most want to play.

Following the opening of its US office earlier this week, the studio launched a poll on its Facebook page to find out which titles gamers are most excited about.

The 10 games listed include Studio Ghibli collaboration Ni no Kuni, puzzle adventure crossover Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney and ambitious 3DS RPG Time Travelers.

Here's the full list:

  • Fantasy Life (3DS)
  • Girl's RPG Cinderelife (3DS)
  • Inazuma Eleven (DS)
  • Inazuma Eleven Strikers (Wii)
  • Ni no Kuni (DS Version)
  • Ni no Kuni (PS3 Version)
  • Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle (3DS)
  • Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney (3DS)
  • Time Travelers (3DS)
  • The Little Battlers (PSP)

At the time of writing, Layton vs. Ace Attorney was streaking ahead with the PlayStation 3 version of Ni no Kuni in second.

With the exception of Inazuma Eleven, none have yet been confirmed for a European release.

A post on the developer's Twitter feed noted, "We only urge you to keep in mind that the poll is to gauge interest, not to confirm any titles. Your votes and tweets truly help us though!"

We voted for all of them. Except the Cinderella thing.
