Tekken Hybrid includes TTT2 demo

UPDATE: A post on the PlayStation Blog promoting Tekken Hybrid today confirmed a full 2012 release for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, though the reference has since been removed.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Prologue version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is included in upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive Blu-ray Tekken Hybrid.

Hybrid, announced at E3, includes CG animated feature Tekken: Blood Vengeance and Tekken Tag Tournament HD.

Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada revealed at Comic-Con (reported by Kotaku) that it also includes Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue, a demo of the game.

This indirectly confirms TTT2 for home consoles – it has so far been announced only for arcades.

Prologue features Alisa and Xiaoyu as playable characters, but they won't be the only ones, Harada revealed.

Hybrid is due out at the end of the year.
