No More Heroes mobile spin-off incoming

Suda to make bloodiest social game ever.

Eccentric auteur Suda51 is bringing his demented No More Heroes series to mobile platforms as a social game.

As reported by Andriasang, the Grasshopper Manufacture boss is working with Japanese social game developer DeNA on the title, which is due for release before the end of the year.

The title will debut on DeNA's Japan-only Mobage phone platform, but during the announcement Suda explained that he hoped to make something with enough "power" and "impact" to secure a Western release.

"We're aiming to make it the social game with the most blood," he added.

The last time we saw Suda's assassin series was the lively No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise on PlayStation 3 back in May.

DeNA also announced it has signed up a number of other industry veterans to make titles for Mobage. Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune is working on an action title called J J Rockets, Marvelous Entertainment's Yoshifumi Hashimoto is planning a Harvest Moon title and former Sonic Team boss Yuji Naka has an unnamed adventure game in development.
