Bejeweled 3 coming to 360, PS3, DS

PopCap gem goes multiplatform.

PopCap's brilliant match-three sequel Bejeweled 3 is heading to DS, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year, the developer has announced.

On home consoles, the game will be available both as a PSN or XBLA download, or as a full retail disc.

There's no precise release date to mark in your diaries just yet, but PopCap is targeting a Q4 launch.

The latest entry in PopCap's ridiculously successful puzzle series rightly picked up high praise from Eurogamer's Christian Donlan when it first launched on PC at the tail end of last year.

"Another quietly fearsome package," read his 8/10 Bejeweled 3 review, "a classic game trying on a range of smart new outfits."
