Bobby Kotick in new Brad Pitt movie?

Acti boss answers call of acting duty.

Controversial Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has an acting role in Brad Pitt's next film, it appears.

Kotick - or someone who looks and sounds extraordinarily similar - has popped up in a trailer for upcoming baseball flick Moneyball.

The movie, also starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jonah Hill, sees Pitt attempting to turn around the fortunes of a struggling baseball team.

Kotick appears to play the team's owner, who Pitt asks for money. He's not on the film's IMDB page, though.

Moneyball would be his first foray into the acting world, but Kotick is already famous as the outspoken boss of mega publisher Activision. Currently involved in a public war of words with his EA counterpart over which of the two company's shooters - Call of Duty or EA's Battlefield 3 - will sell more copies, he also took part in a spat of name-calling with Double Fine founder Tim Schafer last year.

The trailer in question is below - Kotick pops up around the one minute mark.
