Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, PC - £4.85 delivered

Criterion's take on the long running Need for Speed series was a re-visitation of the original Hot Pursuit formula, with more than a sprinkle of Burnout style presentation.

Tom gave it a 9/10 and said: "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is an unqualified triumph. It's stuffed with content but rarely for the sake of it, and knowing Criterion it will be handsomely supported for months to come, even though it's already the best pure arcade racing game since Burnout Paradise. For Need for Speed, it's a return to critical form to match, justify and potentially expand the series' enduring popularity."

It's a shame they stuffed it full of so many unskippable cutscenes, and lots of other padding. It sometimes takes longer to get from one race to the next than it takes to finish a single race.

Deal of the week

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, 3DS – £26.38 delivered

This is a bit sneaky. To get this price we're going to be using coupon "PAYPALOFFER", which gets you a fiver off a spend of £30 or more. Since Ocarina of Time is just £29.89, you need to buy something else to bump the price over £30 before you can use the coupon. Something like these (the cheapest item they currently have in stock).

Add both items to your basket, then apply the coupon "PAYPALOFFER", and it should come to a total of £26.38.

A Link from the past.

Nintendo have decided to revisit one of the most popular entries in one of its most popular series, all the way back from 1998. They've patched up the graphics, and added a host of new features, but it's by and large the same game from all those years ago. Keza recently gave it the perfect 10.
