What's wrong with Tomato Red or Rash Red? Honestly.
The Flare Red 3DS will be released in Japan on 14th July, according to Andriasang - the same day Star Fox 64 3D swoops in.
Flare Red will be the third 3DS colour. Already available are Toothpaste Blue and Burnt Toast Black.
