Retro Studios co-dev on Mario Kart 3DS

Retro Studios is helping Nintendo EAD develop Mario Kart 3DS, Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed.

Speaking during a round-table event at E3 today, the Nintendo veteran explained that the Donkey Kong Country Returns and Metroid Prime developer was designing some of the game's tracks.

As revealed during Nintendo's press conference earlier in the day, Mario Kart 3DS is due for launch before the end of the year.
