The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, the new Wii installment of Nintendos long-running adventure series, will be launching the end of this year.
Its release will cap off the year of The Legend of Zeldas 25th anniversary, with releases coming to all of Nintendos platforms.
The announcement came during a stirring start to Nintendos E3 press conference, with a full orchestra performing music from the series to a packed audience in LAs Nokia Theater.
A specially branded golden Wii Remote will be launched alongside the game.
The 3DS will be getting The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, as well as a port of the Game Boy classic Links Awakening, while the DS will get a port of the cult classic Four Swords Adventure.
