Dance Central 2 confirmed

Simultaneous multiplayer at last.

Harmonix came on stage at the Xbox Media Briefing today to unveil Dance Central 2 for Xbox 360 Kinect.

It has one important feature that was missing from its otherwise excellent predecessor - simultaneous dancing for two players.

The game also features voice control. All songs from the first Dance Central can be imported into Dance Central 2, giving the game over 100 songs from launch.

An on-stage demo of multiplayer showed two avatars dancing side-by-side, with each having their own move list scrolling up the screen and an individual score.

No release date was mentioned.
