Black Ops: First Strike dated for PC

DLC sees belated release this week.

PC users can finally get their mitts on the First Strike expansion for shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops this Friday, developer Treyarch has announced.

A Tweet from community manager Josh Olin broke the news, noting that the DLC is available for pre-order on Steam now.

The pack first launched on Xbox 360 back in February with a PlayStation 3 launch following a month later. It snagged a solid 7/10 from Eurogamer's Will Porter so might just about be worth the wait.

That just leaves Wii users out in the cold, though they probably shouldn't hold their breath. An update on the game's official forum earlier this month read, "Many people are also asking about DLC on the Wii. There is still no information on any potential DLC for the Wii, but we will be sure to update this space once there is. Thank you for your patience."
