Sony delays MotorStorm's Japan launch

Japan PSN may be difficult to connect to.

Sony has delayed the Japanese launch of action racing game MotorStorm: Apocalypse following last week's devastating earthquake.

Apocalypse, by UK studio Evolution, sees players drive around a San Francisco-inspired fictional US city as it is ravaged by an earthquake.

MotorStorm was due for release in Japan on 17th March. It is now listed as TBA, according to Andriasang.

The game is still down for launch in the UK this Friday.

Meanwhile, Sony said there "may be instances" where the PlayStation Network is difficult to connect to, and that some content updates will be delayed – but this is specific to Japan. Sony has temporarily halted service at its PlayStation information and repair centres.
