Two Worlds II! Fight Night! Pokemon!

This week sees (should see... maybe) the release of fantasy role-playing game Two Worlds II. Even as we type this, we're still not 100 per cent sure it'll see the light of day in the UK this week. We know it's supposed to launch as an Amazon.co.uk exclusive on Tuesday, but given the many insufferable delays seen so far, the truth may be different. Until then, let's just give TopWare the benefit of the doubt, shall we?

Elsewhere, Ubisoft launches the high definition remake of cult classic Beyond Good & Evil on Xbox Live Arcade. The much-loved adventure game has been given a makeover, and Ubisoft has stressed the importance of sales for the quiet Beyond Good & Evil 2, but will the end result blow us away?

Meanwhile, shop shelves will bulge from an eclectic line-up of new releases. EA Sports' brutal Fight Night Champion aims to tell a story as well as land haymakers. It features over 50 fighters, but will you be knocked out?

Then there's Pokemon Black and White for the Nintendo DS, the launch of which will tear a hole in space and time, such is the ferocity and loyalty of fans.

And finally, THQ's curious Wii accessory game uDraw is perfect for pencil pushers, Relic's Dawn of War II standalone expansion Retribution is perfect for real-time strategy lovers, and fantasy MMO Rift is perfect for World of Warcrafters. ANY MORE FOR ANY MORE?

This Week in Shops!

Two Worlds II

  • Developer: Reality Pump
  • Publisher: TopWare Interactive
  • Formats: PC, PS3, Xbox 360

What is it? Fantasy MMO from the makers of, you guessed it, Two Worlds. Notable for being the second game in a series that features the word two in its title. What does Eurogamer think? Al Bickham reviewed Two Worlds II for Eurogamer, delving into a menu and equipping a 7/10.

The much delayed Two Worlds II.

Fight Night Champion

  • Developer: EA Canada
  • Publisher: EA Sports
  • Formats: PC, PS3, Xbox 360

What is it? Boxing simulation with a story. You play a pre-set character, and there's voice acting and stuff. Also, it's the first EA Sports game to carry a Mature rating in the US. What does Eurogamer think? Matt Edwards emerged battered and bruised but 8/10 enthused from Eurogamer's Fight Night Champion review.

Pokemon Black and White

  • Developer: GameFreak
  • Publisher: Nintendo

What is it? Cute Japanese role-playing game that preys on those who like collecting things. What does Eurogamer think? Eurogamer's review will go live at 8am on Friday, but we did recently sit down with director Junichi Masuda to get the skinny on the all-conquering series.

Gotta catch 'em all over again.

  • PixelJunk Shooter 2 (PSN)

Chart Predictions!

Each week one of the team will step up to predict the UK all-formats chart. The following predicts the outcome for the week beginning Friday 4th March (to be reported on Monday 7th March).

Tom Phillips, Website & Video Administrator, Eurogamer.net

"So, Killzone 3 beat the multiplatform Bulletstorm - who'd have predicted that? Okay, Oli did, the clever clogs. But while second spot is far from failure, is it an indication that new IP - even one entrenched in guns and space marines - will always struggle to compete against existing franchises? Perhaps we'll find out if Grayson Hunt is granted a second outing. Looking slightly closer into the future though, the question is simply which Pokémon will sell more - Black or White?"

  1. Pokémon Black
  2. Pokémon White
  3. Fight Night Champion
  4. Bulletstorm
  5. Killzone 3

Eurogamer reviews editor Oli Welsh peered into his crystal ball last week. We've made a fancy table to show how he did.

Position The Truth The Prediction Result
1 Killzone 3 Killzone 3 YES!
2 Bulletstorm Bulletstorm YES!
3 Call of Duty: Black Ops Call of Duty: Black Ops YES!
4 FIFA 11 FIFA 11 YES!
5 Just Dance 2 Marvel vs. Capcom 3 WRONG!
