Cars 2: The Videogame announced

From the developer behind Toy Story 3.

A game based on Pixar film Cars 2 is, of course, in development.

Cars 2: The Videogame will launch on DS, PC, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 this summer.

It's developed by Avalanche Software, the team responsible for Toy Story 3: The Videogame, which was surprisingly great.

This time around there's a brand new international spy theme, Disney Interactive said.

There are loads of Cars characters to play with, and racing and spy adventures to enjoy.

The game will connect with the free-to-play browser-based virtual world World of Cars Online. As players gain rewards in the videogame they can use them to unlock new items in World of Cars Online.
