Finally, Nintendo has confirmed the European 3DS launch date.

The handheld will arrive here on 25th March, according to a press release.

The 3DS price will be "decided by retailers" - "please refer to their prices," said Nintendo Europe president Satoru Shibata at a press conference in Amsterdam, Holland, moments ago.

In the US, the 3DS arrives on 27th March and costs $249.99 (~£157).

In Japan, the 3DS arrives on 26th February and costs ¥25,000 (~£190).

The European 3DS launch will be complemented by 25 games, although it wasn't specified what they'll be.
