Second RIFT beta event detailed

Telara croft of MMOs?

The second bout of beta testing for MMO RIFT will begin on Friday, 17th December and end on Monday, 20th December.

Testing both starts and ends at 6pm UK time.

As with the first closed beta - completed yesterday - anyone wishing to take part needs to sign up on the RIFT website and await invitation to the testing.

If you're lucky enough to get in, you'll witness the Guardians of the Vigil event. This involves saving a forest from fiery baddies or corrupt baddies, and crossing into another realm to beat-up some really nasty bloke.

Why? Why should you bother? Because RIFT isn't rubbish. It's been cooking since 2006 and has had $100 million spent on it. What does Eurogamer think? "In the battle of the heavyweights, Trion's first venture into MMOs may turn out to be the sucker-punch nobody saw coming."
