SuperCar Challenge dev's next detailed

Free-to-play browser racer.

Auto Club Revolution is a free-to-play community driven game created in tandem with the motor industry, developer Eutechnyx has revealed.

The MMO-style racer is due out "early 2011".

There are fully licensed vehicles and parts, extensive community features and multiplayer races.

ACR is playable within a browser, which makes it very modern indeed.

You can customise your cars, show them off to other players, then sell them.

Jaguar, Lotus, Bugatti, McLaren, Pagani, BMW, Mini, Bentley and Chevrolet are some of the 45 plus manufacturers who have provided Eutechnyx with "detailed information" in order to recreate their models.

Several of these companies will premier concept and pre-production cars in the game.

"Auto Club Revolution lets car enthusiasts take their dream garage and make it a virtual reality - then gather with other like-minded people and have a blast interacting and playing," said Eutechnyx CEO Darren Jobling.

"It's completely free-to-play with premium items, accessible to all players of all ages and abilities, and offers a level of realism never before seen in a racing game or automotive online world."

You can vote for the cars, tracks and cities you want to see in the game over on the official site.

"ACR is the result of listening to the fans and looking towards the future," Jobling added.

"We've been making racing games for over a decade, which has given us an excellent understanding of what people want from these experiences. The idea here is to make a game that fits how people want to play now, and give it the flexibility let it evolve."

Eurogamer awarded SuperCar Challenge 5/10 back in September 2009.
