Red Faction: Armageddon delayed

Plus targets for Space Marine, Saints Row 3.

THQ's delayed Red Faction: Armageddon to May 2011 to bolster its financial 2012 line-up.

MX vs. ATV Alive will arrive in spring 2011 and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine in summer 2011, while Saints Row 3 and a new WWE title are coming in autumn 2011 and the next UFC title wont be here until early 2012, THQ confirmed last night.

Red Faction: Armageddon was expected in March 2011. Players take control of Darius Mason - grandson of the bloke from Red Faction: Guerrilla - and find themselves in a pitched battle against an alien threat deep under the surface of Mars in huge, destructible environments.

Check out our recent Red Faction: Armageddon preview for details on your armoury and the bonus downloadable Battlegrounds game due out on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade around the same time.

Saints Row 3, also from RFA developer Volition, is a lesser-known quantity but if Saints Row 2 is anything to go by then it will be astoundingly bonkers.
