Heavy Rain Move Edition dated, priced

Demo confirmed.

The PlayStation Move-enabled version of thriller Heavy Rain will be released in the UK and Ireland on 8th October, Sony's confirmed via the European PlayStation Blog.

It'll be out in Australia and New Zealand on 7th October and the rest of the PAL territories on 6th October.

Heavy Rain Move Edition will cost £29.99 / €39.99.

What do you get for your cash? You get bonus content including the Taxidermist playable scene, three dynamic cross media bar themes for your PS3, the full game stereo soundtrack and nine Making Of videos.

A Heavy Rain Move Edition demo will be available to download from the PlayStation Store on 15th September.

It features two of the early levels from the game: Sleazy Place and Crime Scene. It's fully playable with Move.

On 22nd September a patch will be released that will Move-enable your existing copy of Heavy Rain. It'll automatically download to your PS3 when you boot up the game.

Last month creator David Cage revealed Heavy Rain sold 1.5 million copies worldwide, and was on course to reach two million "soon".

In July the enigmatic Quantic Dream boss told Eurogamer that work on Heavy Rain downloadable content was scrapped in favour of incorporating Move support.
