Pro Evo 2 kicks off early

Slipping... except in reverse...

Pro Evolution Soccer 2 will launch on October 25th. Developer and publisher Konami has brought the launch of the game forward, bucking the recent trend of non-stop slippage amongst the big winter titles. The PSone version of Pro Evo 2 is due out shortly afterward.

Those of you who can't wait another fortnight can already pick up a demo of the game from GAME stores across the UK, which gives you one half of England versus Brazil - Konami and GAME are also running a nationwide competition to determine the country's best PES2 gamer, so if you fancy yourself, pop into your local GAME and notch up a decent score to try and qualify for the regional finals later this year.

Otherwise, we'll see you on the terraces bright and early on October 25th!
