Voodoo 4/5 details

have officially announced the details of their new Voodoo 4 and Voodoo 5 graphics cards, which should be available in March 2000.

As we reported earlier, there will be a range of cards from the low end Voodoo 4 4500 at $180 to the awesome Voodoo 5 6000, which has a rather hefty price tag of $600!

If you're really power hungry, Quantum 3D will be making even more expensive cards with fill rates of 3 GigaTexels a second and up. Oh boy. Of course, you'll have to mortgage your house to buy one... The top of the range one (effectively 32 Voodoo 4s on a single card) will set you back about $40,000.

The full press release is available here, and you can find out more about the new graphics cards here.
