I thought Wind Waker was awesome, as well. I'm sure a lot of people did. I'm not quite sure why a lot of people were put off by the cel-shading, though... Hmm.. One of life's mysteries.
Maybe, I didn't have any misconceptions of what WW was gonna be like, as it was my first Zelda game. Hmm... As to my previous query, about the cel-shading, any answers would be appreciated.
Thankyou, fellow gamerz.

My mate Pob says the following so take a deep breath and read on.
POb
"this has the potential to be an ocarina beater but could fall flat on its face if no one buys the machine and opt to help sony have a bigger share of the market which means less original games and more racing games "

Still one of my most anticipated games of the year, though. Although it doesn't have me drooling in quite the same way that Okami does.

I'd love to 'play' through a game like this without having to do any of that tedious combat and timed puzzle crap that you get all the time in Zelda games.

tedious combat? u havn't played wind waker, have you?
it should be even better combat-wise with the wiimote though
interesting, vid, but doesn't let on any more of the storyline does it? just good to see some more screens of link in wolf form to get a feel for it...
Hyrule field looks great too, but epona does seem a bit jumpy...
