Thats the player, the game however looks utterly fabulous.

That and Alan Wake have made me want to go out and buy a 360 tomorrow. Luckily for my bank balance, since the games aren't available yet I have to wait. But that is VERY impressive.

Looks very impressive. Like the climbing/platforming etc. You can definitely see some influences from Sands of Time in the climbing and the combat. I would be very interested in knowing how big the world you inhabity is and what structure the game follows (e.g. linear or free roam)

Has moved up to 9.6 on my interestometer.

I love the way he walked with the monks to remain hidden from his target - some glimpses of truly next gen gameplay. UBISOFT - we love you.

also - the horse riding seems to be like SOTC and not like the horse/tank handling in oblivion - phew!!!

Impressive. They certainly owe a lot to the creators of Ico/Colossus.
Hopefully it won't all be swordfights, and it looks like there is a lot to explore, good!

Looks really fantastic. To be honest though, the social stealth thing is nothing new as the Hitman games have been doing that for years.

Aye, the quality's bad because it's taken from a feed of the conference that wasn't particularly good quality in the first place. Same with the other conference trailers that look a bit ropey.

Shadow of the Prince of Splinter Hitmen ftw!

Jokes aside, looks like a great mix of many different games that wasn't untinkable of within current gen restraints. Another great reason to have a 360.

@mash the x button - I agree: The camera angle of the horse riding bit at the start is straight out of SotC. Only a good thing.

The graphics are ok, but why do the people slouching around remember me of zombies?
They don't have a purpose. They just walk from A to B. It's like Resident Evil 4 all over again.

And it would be so easy to give the city a real lifelike feeling.
For a start add some children. Put in some beggars.
And give the NPC's something to do. Let them talk to eachother, carry things, sell stuff.
After that it would be nice if the people you shove around would act a bit more realistic. They still have all the characteristics of a zombie: push one to the floor and no-one gives a damn.

It's really a shame. They promissed a lot with this game. The only improvement I see as far as AI is concerned is that people try not to bump into you. It's...amazing! :P

You want to check out central London in the last few weeks before Xmas mate. Seems to me their Ai was spot on it that regard.

No, just trying to keep the 'suspension of disbelieve'.
Maybe they can skip the beggars, but no children in the entire city? Come on...

I guess due to the poor video quality this looks rather unspectacular. It doesn't seem close to the earlier trailers at least. Maybe because it's a development build.

In theory this game sounded very nice but seeing this, it dropped of my wish list. Crowd dynamics look totally unconvincing and the silly "intuition" mode is, well, silly. Unless they make some immense improvements, I'm not anticipating this game anymore. But if the "rumoured genetic remembering, changing the past to alter the future" storyline is really true, there's no saving this one for me.

"another reason to get a ps3 :D (unless uve got a 360 - but i want MGS) "

I was under the impression that MGS4 was coming out the 360 as well as PS3. I thought Final Fantasy was just about the only huge franchise staying exclusive.
