Can anybody halt the seemingly unstoppable march of the mighty WoW? Given the scenes which accompanied the release of the Burning Crusade expansion it seems unlikely.

Seemingly not, if you think that there are 8 million WoW subscribers in the world, and the world population is around 6.5 billion, then around 1 in every 800 people plays WoW.

I think the other 799 in each 800 could probably take them though. Especially as they probably don't get out much.

Bought it yesterday. Now I can't sleep, I can't eat, I had to put my work aside... Just like when I first started the original WoW.
