exactomundo. They needed a simple but expressive graphical style so the engine could be lo-spec enough to run on just about any middle of the road computer. That way you can get your hooks into the casual audience as an MMORPG. Well, that and making sure the game isn't overly complex at the start and such. But making sure as many people as possible can actually play a game, and still have it look good, is a good start to really bring in the masses.
